Q. 1: I'm having problems viewing the site. How can I fix this?
The site is best viewed with Firefox 1.5 or higher and a screen resolution of at least 1024 x 768. If you need to adjust the text size, at the top of your browser go to VIEW > TEXT SIZE. The Skill Planner may not function properly if you are using an Internet Explorer version older than 6.0. To update your Internet Explorer go to: http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/.
Q. 2: Do you accept orders from outside the United States?
Yes, we accept orders from around the world however, be aware that all of our prices are listed in U.S Dollars. We do not accept currency other than US Dollars. Currency sent through Paypal using either your Paypal account or a credit card will be converted automatically. You can calculate the cost in your local currency using the Universal Currency Converter at XE.com. Do not under any circumstances send a cash, check, money order or Western Union payment in a currency other than US Dollars.
Q. 3: Which payment methods are available?
We accept Cash, Check, Money Order, PayPal, Western Union, and Credit Card and E-Check via PayPal. Cash, Check and Money Order payments no longer qualify for a 10% discount.
Cash, Check and Money Order Payments
Orders paid by cash, personal check and money order no longer qualify for a 10% discount.
We will notify you when we receive your payment in the mail. Orders paid for with cash are delivered immediately upon receipt of payment. Orders paid for with personal checks will be held until the check clears, which could take up to 14 days. Money orders generally take significantly less time to clear but will also be held. We recommend purchasing money orders from your local US Post Office as they tend to clear within a few days.

PayPal payments may be subject to an extra verification process.
Orders paid with Paypal, where payments are funded by existing PayPal funds or credit card, are usually delivered within 30 minutes of the time we receive payment. PayPal payments funded by bank accounts (eChecks) may take up to 5 business days to clear. As with physical checks, we do not deliver the order until the payment has cleared. In some cases funds may be removed from your bank account several days prior to D2items actually receiving the credit.
Western Union Payments
The minimum order amount for payment by Western Union is $100.00.
Please make sure that all of the information matches what you got back from Western Union, exactly. If any bit of the above information does not match, we may not be able to receive your payment. Check for typos and misspellings before you send the information to us.
Q. 4: What if I don't have a Paypal account? How can I create one?
PayPal's home page is: http://www.paypal.com. There is a Sign Up link at the top that you can follow, or take this link directly to it: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_registration-run. If you are a parent, it is imperative that you make all purchases with your paypal account for your child. DO NOT give your child (or anyone else) access to your PayPal account. Giving access to your PayPal account is as tantamount to giving full access to your credit card. The majority of fraudulent orders come from children using their parents' credit cards or Paypal accounts without permission. If you are a parent and you would like to receive a phone call or email to verify every order that is made with your account, we will be happy to help.
Q. 5: I want to pay by credit or debit card. Do I need a Paypal account?
No. Although we process all credit and debit cards through Paypal, you do not need a Paypal account to use your card. To order with a credit card, simply select the "Pay with credit card" option on the checkout page.
Q. 6: How can I be sure that my credit/debit card information is secure?
We use Paypal to process all credit cards because it is safer for us and for you. Paypal employs industry leading software to ensure the privacy of each transaction. In addition to that, Paypal never provides us with your card number; they give us only the payment, and the information we need to complete the order. Your security is important to us. If we ever suspect that an order may be fraudulent we put the order on hold until we can call you to confirm it.
Q. 7: What information should I include with my payment?
The more information you provide, the easier it will be for us to approve your order without needing to contact you. If you are paying by PayPal or credit card, we would appreciate it if you include your confirmed address and phone number. Please select "shipping is required" at checkout to include this information with the payment. This goes toward weeding out the fraudulent orders. The more information you provide, the easier it will be to confirm your identity. If you're paying by one of the alternate methods (cash, check, money order), we will ask you for all the information we need in our email correspondence with you. We will never use your personal information for purposes other than verifying the integrity of your order. Don't forget to include your choices for the specials and rune packages in the notes of your payment.
Q. 8: How do I know that you will deliver the items to me after I've paid?
This site has been running for over 5 years and we have established a large number of regular customers. Feel free to ask around. Look at the site. It's not something that was thrown together in 20 minutes. This site is entirely database driven and took quite a bit of professional work to complete. We have a live support staff working 24/7. You can contact them at any time with the "Live Support" button at the top of the screen. If you need a phone call to convince you, please write to us with your phone number and we'll be happy to place a call to anywhere in the world if it means you'll be comfortable making an order with us. We are a highly organized, professional group of adults operating a legitimate business in the United States, and you will find that we offer excellent service at every level.
Q. 9: How will the items be delivered to me?
We will create a mule account to hold the item(s) you've ordered. The username and password of this account will be e-mailed to your primary Paypal address, or the e-mail address you provided at checkout. After you have received the email, it is your responsibility to remove the items from the mule account before it expires. Mule characters expire 10 days after creation if they haven't been logged into Bnet, so it is important that you retrieve your items right away. Our Live Help representatives are available 24/7 to help transfer your items to your character.
Q. 10: How do I transfer the items to my character from the mule account?
There are a few ways that this can be done. I'll list them in order of safety.
3. If you have a friend that can help you, just get him/her to log on to the mule account and transfer the item to your character in a game. DO NOT trust random people you have met on Battle.net to help you transfer your $100 order. Get someone you know in real life to do this. People tell us all the time how they trusted their Bnet "friend" and they turned on them and stole all the items.
Although it is possible to transfer alone using a stable, private game, this method is risky. If the game crashes, or if you don't get back to it fast enough, the items will be lost.
Do not under any circumstances attempt to transfer items in a public game. The items could be stolen, or the game could fill up preventing you from reentering.
Items lost transferring will not be replaced. If you do not have a way to safely transfer the items yourself, please click on the Live Support button for assistance. We have representatives working 24/7 to assist you.
Q. 11: How long does it take to get my items once I've paid?
Most orders will be delivered within an 30 minutes. Some orders may require extra verification which might cause a delay. If we need extra information from you, we will ask. If you have not heard from us within three hours of the time you placed your order, please contact us via the Live Support button at the top of the screen. We have staff delivering items around-the-clock 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.
Q. 12: Do you sell unperm items? Will they be deleted by The Scan?
Unless specifically stated on the item description all items on the site, including runes, charms and SoJs are legit.

With the implementation of the v1.10 patch, Blizzard deleted all ITH items, most Bugged items and many .08 items that they felt were too powerful. Not all items they deleted were duped or hacked. They deleted all of certain items, whether legit or not. Some legit items that Blizzard deleted include: .08 Harlequin Crest, .08 Arkaine's Valor, .08 Grandfather, .08 Hellslayer, .08 Baranar's Star, and more. Fortunately, many of the less powerful .08 items are still around and you will find those for sale while quantities last.
Q. 15: Can my character on the USEAST realm use items from the USWEST, EUROPE, ASIA realms; Can my Classic Character use items from the Expansion realms; Can my Hardcore character use items from the Softcore realms?
No, no, and no. Items are not interchangeable between realms. A Hardcore character cannot not use Softcore items or vice versa. USWEST characters cannot use USEAST, Europe, or Asia items. Ladder characters cannot use non-ladder items. A character can only use items that exist on the same realm as it does. While you're shopping, make sure that you are ordering items for the proper realm.
Q. 16: You don't have an item I'm looking for. Can I put in a request?
Definitely. If you don't see the item you want, just ask! New items are added on a regular basis and it's likely we have what you're looking for or can acquire it. D2items has thousands of items in stock that aren't for sale as well as different variations of items that are for sale.
Q. 17: Why are some items so expensive?
Items these days are many times cheaper than they were 2 years ago. Ever see a Windforce sell for $1200.00? At one point that was the going rate. It seems crazy today but it just goes to show that the economy of Diablo 2 operates like every other economy of the world. It's all about supply and demand. We charge fair market value for our items. In most cases better, harder-to-find items are priced higher.
Q. 18: Do you offer bulk discounts?
I guess that depends on what you consider "bulk" to mean. If you plan on making a single order for $500.00+ in items and you can pay by a method other than PayPal, we would consider giving a discount. Please write in for details.
Q. 19: Do you buy or trade items?
We have temporarily suspended the purchase of Diablo 2 items. If and when we choose to reopen trades for Diablo 2 items, there will be an announcement on the front page.

Q. 21: What is this Hybrid runeword I see on D2Items?
|Hybrid runewords are very much like they sound: a combination of Runewords. The non-rune stats from the first RW item are applied to the rune-only stats of the second for unbelievably godly combination. Let's take a look at an example. Splendor of Rhyme is a hybrid of Rhyme and Splendor. Because Splendor is the first word, its non-rune stats will carry over and stack with those of the runes used to make Rhyme. See below.|

Additionally, you'll notice the level requirement for the item is set by the runes of the second word. In this case, that's a lower requirement down to 29 versus Splendor's 37.
Q. 22: Is there a limit on the number of uses for coupons and special offers on D2Items?
|While we do reserve the right to limit the use of any of the coupons and special offers in anyway we see fit, it's not something the average customer should worry about! It only really becomes an issue if our stock of an item is running very low, which does not happen very often.|
